Hart has a .768 OPS compared to Gwynn's .748.
Counsell has a .794 OPS and a higher OBP than Gwynn.
80% of Gwynn's hits are singles - where does he play his home games?
His home/road splits are pretty similar, but that park in San Diego is much more suited for a slappy, singles hitter like Gwynn.
His numbers as a Brewer 130 games, 264 PA's, .248 BA, .300 OBP, .298 SLG % and a .598 OPS - did you think the Brewers would get a lot back for a guy with those numbers?
He's also committed 6 errors in 2 months. I like TGJ, always have, but I don't see him maintaining his current numbers. And I'll take the guy with a higher OPS everytime.
And do you read the comment on those JSOnline blogs and stories - not exactly a bunch of geniuses like the peeps on this site
